We may be crazy, but we know we aren’t alone! Freedom to travel and adventure has always been a dream of ours. A dream of our parents. A desire of many of our friends. Maybe even a desire of yours? For 14 years we have tossed around the, “what ifs” and “somedays”. During that time we have added 5 children to our tribe, built a nice house on a little bit of land, and have lived in the same state we both grew up in. Up until a little over a year ago that is. March of 2016 we packed up our crew and moved up north for a temporary job opportunity. And so it began…
Moving away from the familiar shook us up a bit and changed us fundamentally. Just a taste of what else is “out there” has given us an even stronger desire to explore the world around us! To wander about and experience things we have only talked about. More importantly, we want our children to experience more! We don’t want to wait until they are grown and moved out, we want to do it with them! To see their eyes light up when they discover the beauty and adventure that they are sure to find! Our motto has become, “why wait?”

Several months ago Josh and I both had a strong desire to start traveling so we began researching ways to make it happen. We both separately discovered skoolies and fell in love with the concept! Being able to create our own design and a layout that would work for a larger family like ours is what sold us. We still can’t believe that we are actually doing this! But doing something that scares you a little is also what makes you come alive!
